The Brady IDXPERT v2.0 Portable Label Printer prints via thermal transfer at 300 dots per inch (dpi) on over 140 label materials up to 1.25" character height, and uses a familiar QWERTY keyboard. For use in identifying a variety of items, from cables to equipment, this label printer has a QWERTY keyboard (the standard style on most computers) and prints single- or multi-line on over 140 label materials up to 1.5” wide, in 21 character sizes up to 1.25” height. Use the IDXPERT to create die-cut labels, self-laminating labels, sleeves, slide-in punch block strips and continuous tape labels with 300 dpi for clear, crisp printing. The thermal transfer printing method stays bright and lasts longer than direct thermal printing.
IDXPERT prints characters in 21 font sizes up to 1.25” (7 to 128 point type), on material 1.5” wide, and can print the alphabet, numbers, 82 unique symbols, and bar codes. The quick loading cartridge makes switching jobs faster than other label printers with the Drop, Lock, and Print technology; the label printer automatically senses the cartridge label type and size. Labeler can hold a continuous roll up to 30’ long. The memory feature stores up to 10 setups. The label printer runs on (6) AA-batteries (not included) or optional AC power. Use the optional Brady LabelMark software to create labels on a computer and print from the IDXPERT. Several applications are built into the printer: Wire ID, terminal block strips, patch panel strips, 66-block strips, 110-block strips (with grid lines for 2, 3, 4, and 5 pair), BIX block strips (with grid lines for 2, 3, 4, and 5 pair), Desi-strip/face plate inserts, general ID mode, horizontal serialization, and BackBone serialization. Labeler comes with a 12-month manufacturer warranty.
Label printers, also called label makers or labelers, are a type of computer printer that print on rolled stock or fanfold stock. Label printers are used for many purposes, including asset management, price marking, packaging labels, laboratory specimen marking, and naming file folders. Label printers use a variety of printing technologies, such as laser, thermal transfer and direct thermal mechanisms. Some label printers may interface with a computer to create special types of labels, such as barcodes, while other label printers can create special content using the printer’s own operating system.
Brady Corporation manufactures signs, tags, printers, and other industrial safety and identification products. Brady was founded in 1914, is headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9000 standards.
